Nouveautés Chain of Command

Message par McFly le Mar 4 Nov 2014 - 11:24

Too Fat Lardies ont quelques nouveautés sur leur site

At the Sharp End is designed to provide all you need to play and create wargame campaigns with our popular WWII platoon level rules.
At the Sharp End allows you to follow the exploits of your force throughout a series of linked games. To succeed you'll need to keep your men safe, your CO happy whilst ensuring the effectiveness of your key leaders. Included is a complete campaign system covering everything you need to run a campaign with an absolute minimum of effort and paperwork (almost none in fact).
Three types of campaign options are presented so the gamer can select one to suit the amount of time he has available and the degree of detail he is looking for. The most simple option allows the gamer to start campaigning straight away, whilst the others allow the building of historical campaigns. It's all there, even down to gallantry awards so you can see your characters develop in action..
The whole At the Sharp End Handbook will serve as a key to be used with Chain of Command campaigns produced by us in our Specials, in magazine articles and as stand-alone supplements, as well as allowing the gamer to build his own campaigns with a minimum of effort

29, Let's Go! is the first of our Pint-Sized campaigns for Chain of Command, designed to be played using the campaign handbook At the Sharp End.

Thirty-two pages long, 29, Let's Go! contains an overview of the planned, and then actual, events on Omaha beach on the 6th of June before then going on to present a mini-campaign covering the advance of the US 175th Infantry Regiment from the initial beachhead in their drive to link Omaha and Utah beaches by capturing the key bridge at Isigny.

The campaign is a total of five game tables with the duration running between five and nine games.  Briefings are provided for both sides, along with measurable objectives, period maps, force and support option listings and everything you need to play this campaign through to its conclusion.

Operation Winter Storm by Richard Morrill is a scenario supplement providing twenty-two scenarios covering the attempts by 6 Panzer Division to advance across the bleak steppes towards Stalingrad and relieve von Paulus' trapped Sixth Army.

Each scenario comes with a briefing for both sides, victory conditions and a map of the table.  Two support options are given for each force as well as five Army lists to cover the forces involved.  The scenarios are arranged into four chapters allowing the gamer to play them individually or as a series of linked games.
